Robert Indiana's Love Sculpture, a pop art piece, on Sixth Avenue in mid-town Manhattan, might be the second most popular sculpture in the city (after the Statue of Liberty). His works were never copyrighted and his LOVE letters have been reproduced in print, on postage stamps (the first Love stamps in 1973) and a piece sold at Christie's auction house in May for over $200,000. Tourists are forever taking photos and couples are always appreciative when someone offers to take a photo for them so that both lovers can be in the picture in front of the famous pop art sculpture.
Don't you love, love, L-O-V-E it!!!
Street Love. NYC.
Last Saturday evening my wonderful boyfriend PROPOSED to me at the LOVE sculpture!! I said Yes Of Course! What better place to be proposed to! It was so romantic! I was wondering how many other couples have gotten engaged at this place?
I made a mini site with all the details and photos... http://www.kimthitchener.com/engagement/engagement.html

I understand what you are saying, but you just seem to have forgotten that there are some other people in the world who view this issue for what it really is and may not agree with you. You may be turning away a lot of people who might have been fans of your blog.
